Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

It's been a week and a day and I feel really interesting. Interesting in a very good way. It's a clean feeling on the inside of my body. I admit, I am not drinking as much water as I probably should and I'm sure I'm missing out on an even better feeling, but I just needed to document this feeling.

When something emotional happens to me, I cry. I cry when very happy, when very sad, when very angry, when very ______ . I LOVE the feeling that fills me up when my crying has ebbed: clean. My soul is cleaned. It is a very unique feeling and it's pretty addicting.

The feeling I feel now is very similar to that feeling.

I have been looking at the calorie count on foods I have chosen to move forward without and I am pretty amazed by the level of madness I was blindly partaking in. I chose the word "blindly" because I didn't realize the amount of work that goes into just 200 calories. To just BAM! eat a 700 calorie hamburger in no time would take three and a half times the work to burn off!!! BLARGH!

Love up that fat free Caesar dressing, Joey; you can do no wrong there.

In The Beginning

I began this journey on May 16, 2010. In 1 year, 52 weeks, 12 months, you get it, I hope to be 84 lbs lighter. Why EIGHTY FOUR? It seems so... precise. It is. It's 30% of my current weight (see what I did with the URL? Yeah, that was on purpose.). I have set up a graph and a log to record what foods I eat. I HOPE I can keep this up for 365 days.

The goal I have is really reasonable, actually. It breaks down to about 1.6 lbs per week. VERY possible, yes? And even more so with Percy, my Wii Fit Plus. :D

I have goals and rewards set up for each quarter. Here's my itinerary:

1 Week (5.23): -2 lbs; Reward: High Five
1 Month (6.16): -7 lbs; Reward: Pedicure
3 Months (8.16): -22 lbs; Reward: New Dress
6 Months (11.16): -42 lbs; Reward: Massage
9 Months (2.16): -63 lbs; Reward: Exercise Equipment
ONE YEAR (5.16): -84 lbs; Reward: swimsuit and lingerie photoshoot

I hope these incentives help me to STAY FOCUSED!! Lord knows I have an issue with focusing...
